Refund & Exchange Policy

At Hanajo, we take pride in the care and quality of every piece that leaves our atelier.

Refund

Refunds are only considered if you have received a defective or damaged item that is the last available piece. Please contact us at hello@hanajo.co within 3 days of receiving your parcel, and our team will be happy to assist.

Kindly note that the defective or damaged item must be returned to us for inspection before any refund can be processed.

Please note:

  • Items showing signs of use, wear, or washing cannot be refunded.

Exchange

Occasionally, an oversight may occur during quality checks. If you need an exchange, please reach out to hello@hanajo.co for assistance.

To ensure a smooth exchange, the item should be:

  • Unworn, unused, and unwashed

  • With original tags, labels, and packaging intact

  • In pristine condition

Exchanges should be requested within 72 hours of receiving your order and returned within 5 business days.

Items That Cannot Be Exchanged

  • Correct items as per invoice (no swaps for different prints, colours, or variants)

  • Personalized items that have been embroidered, altered, or customized

  • Items showing defects after use, washing, or wear

  • Minor imperfections such as loose threads, slight stains, or dust that do not affect overall appearance

  • Colour variations due to individual screen display differences

  • Products marked as ‘SALE’ or purchased with a discount code

  • We sincerely appreciate your kind understanding if our third-party delivery partner causes minor dents to the external packaging during transit. Please be assured that such dents do not affect the quality of the product inside. Kindly note that refunds or exchanges will not be processed for external packaging dents on mailer boxes.

How Exchanges Work

  • Defective products will be exchanged for the same item and size

  • Incorrect items will be exchanged for the correct product based on your invoice

  • If the original item is unavailable, we may offer another colour or size

  • Exchanged products will be shipped in original Hanajo packaging

  • Customers are responsible for shipping fees, except for defective or incorrect products, which will be shipped free to and from our warehouse
